Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Private Law Insight undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.
- Initial Screening:
Every manuscript is initially assessed by the editorial team to ensure it meets the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and basic standards of quality. - Double-Blind Peer Review:
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are then reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. - Reviewer Evaluation:
Reviewers are asked to evaluate the manuscript’s originality, methodology, significance, clarity, and contribution to the field of private law. They may recommend acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection. - Editorial Decision:
The editorial team makes the final publication decision based on the reviewers’ reports and the authors’ responses to reviewer comments. - Revision and Resubmission:
If revisions are required, authors are invited to submit a revised version of their manuscript. The revised submission may be sent back to the reviewers for further assessment, if necessary. - Final Acceptance:
Once the manuscript meets all academic and ethical standards, it is accepted for publication.
The journal strives to complete the peer review process promptly while maintaining the highest standards of scholarly review.
